I don't care if you're:
- Born again
- Jehovah's Witness
It doesn't mean you have to believe in the story of a virgin birth or any little thing about this time of the year. It doesn't really matter what you believe in, but face facts: it is Christmas time.
Can we just accept that and when someone says, "Merry Christmas," we don't act like someone just told us to go fuck our mothers? We don't have to be rude and say, "Uh, I'm Jewish." Fine, you're Jewish. Happy frakking Hanukkah! "Oh, I'm an atheist." Fine, you're an atheist. Merry Fucking Christmastime anyway, biocce!
When any other holiday comes around, no one tip toes around it for fear of upsetting anyone else. Happy Halloween! Happy Valentines Day! Happy Canada Day!
It's also the way the word "holiday" permeates everything! Holiday shopping, holiday candies, holiday baking blah blah blah.
You can call it "bullshit" if you want, but no one objects when someone gives them a Christmas gift, do they!
