Well, it seems that the Mismatches next door are finally done. Here from my perch above the backyards, I watch it all go down like a virgin's knickers on prom night.
Back in September, I shared a stalker's tale with y'all about Studly Mismatch and Oblivious Nerdy-Mismatch. I can report with confidence that yesterday afternoon, Studly moved out of the manse and has left Oblivious in his dust.
This left me with the decision to change Oblivious Nerdy's name to Skinny Marie. Trust, it's appropriate.Poodle overheard some guy ask if he was moving and Studly said, "No, just taking some stuff to the cottage." I watched him and his friend, Sexy drive off, only to return an hour later to get more stuff. Uh, is the cottage in The Annex? Anyway, I watched them load up more stuff. As the clock ticked, they seemed to move a little quicker until one can only describe it as "hustling their asses."
Skinny Marie returned home a couple of hours later with new pillows and Williams-Sonoma bags with new All-Clad cookware. So sad. I don't wish this kind of drama on any couple, but they've obviously been unhappy for so long and now Skinny Marie can get away from that Studly who is such a dawg.
I'll say this though: he has great taste in furniture.
That seems like a pretty chickenshit thing for studly to do.
