AI8 ~ Recap

Ok, this is just going to come across as mean.

I have no clue as to why Quentin Tarantino is a guest mentor. Does he have a movie coming out? He just seemed like the king of the nerd herd to me. And, again this is going to sound mean, but what is up with his face? Either it's caving in or he forgot to put in his bottom dentures. He was just totally coming off as a lechy old man. Ew.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall back at the Idol manse. No doubt they were all cutting him to ribbons going, "Who is this guy?!"

Speaking of 'fly on the wall' Miley Virus is supposed to be performing tonight. I won't be able to watch. The sound of her voice makes me cringe. No.

Okay, back to the recap. This is going to be really easy, because I'm not going to recap very much. I'm going to say that Kris was my favourite and Matt and Anoop are in big danger. Bryan Adams songs? Ugh! Even though I'm still debating on whether or not I like Adam, I will say that I hope he takes it. For no other reason than the courage he has to just go out there and be who he is.

This is why Adam should win Idol:

This is someone who is willing to get up in front of millions, including closeted young teens, and say, "Fuck that shit. This is me. I'm an original and I don't accept your limitations." Oh, it helps that he's pretty entertaining, too.
