"11 year-old Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover was found dead after he hanged himself earlier this week by tying an electrical cord around his neck that was fastened to a support beam in his home. The child had endured day after day of taunting with anti-gay slurs at the school he attended, the New Leadership Charter School in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Sirdeaner L. Walker, the boy’s mother, stated she phoned school administrators weekly during the past six months in attempt to intervene in the bullying."
Personally, I believe the parents of the bullies and school officials are to be held responsible for Carl's suicide. Eleven years old! How does an eleven year old child even learn to be so disgusting and cruel? That's right...from their parents and community leaders.
Just unbelievable.
I have been there, but somehow survived. I was very lucky. These fricking Parents should be held accountable, completely! Let them lose a child and explain how innocent they think it was.
ReplyDeleteThe parents, the Theo-Fascists, and the administration of that school that allowed taunting to continue, all need to be held accountable to some degree, but the school is responsible for the safety of that child when he is in their walls and they should be held to a higher standard!
ReplyDeleteI saw that as well and it just makes me sick. I feel the same way, the parents of the bullies and the school officials who allowed the problem to continue hold some responsibility. I'm disgusted!
