Whitney's offical website is reporting that her "comeback" CD will FINALLY drop on September 1st....of THIS year!
Also on the site, this cheesy but kind of exciting video hyping the event.
I've done some snooping around and it doesn't appear that there are big big releases around that time, so Whit should do really well!

I GOT CHILLS!!! I've been a fan of Ms. Whitney since day one. I'm so praying for a major comeback; she deserves it.

ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that within two weeks we'll see a the "Scary Mary" version, a version replacing Whitney with Susan Boyle, and, at the very least, one that intersperses some of the shall we say less flattering images of Miss H. from recent years.
I just hope there's a shred of the voice left; I have visions of her returning in the way that Freda Payne did on AI this year...
I have to admit I don't know that I am looking forward to it. I thought I would be, but it's been, what, 20 years?
