...yeah...sorry about that.

I just needed to "unplug" for a bit. I realize that was the longest I've ever gone without posting, and that includes when Poodle and I went to Cabo, when I went to a conference and got a guest contributor, and when I had to help my mama after my step-father died.

If it's any consolation, I unplugged from Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr, too.

I can't promise I won't need to "unplug" again, but if I do, you'll see the same "Please Stand By" message; just know I won't permanently disappear without fair warning.

Now, let's get down to bizness, shall we?

Spotlight! ~ Flyfoto (NSFW)

Well, hello Gorgeous!


I love Beefcake. It's true; a fact of life. As someone who enjoys art and photography, I just love Beefcake Photography.

I even spent a small fortune at an auction for three original Bruce of Hollywood photos.

There are a handful of photographers out there that are able to capture that retro-cake feel without compromising the genre with blatant sexuality.

Flyfoto has been able to capture the sensuality of yesteryear without tainting his art with obvious eroticism.

In his words:

To some, photography is a business. To me, it is a passion. It is through this amazingly creative process that I study my subjects, and always strive to find that elusive ‘precise moment’ which separates a great image, from one that captivates, enlightens, informs.

He has worked with many models who can convey a sense of masculinity, sensuality and blatant sexuality, some as nudes, some as not.

3042 ~ Ten Years Later

The Lisp honours the 3,042 men and women who were killed on this day, ten years ago,
in New York City, Washington and Pennsylvania.

Also, I recognize and honour the thousands of First Responders and rescue/recovery volunteers who acted so selflessly on 9/11 and have suffered and endured with maladies such as PTSD, respiratory illnesses, cancer; for many of them, these sicknesses led to their untimely deaths.

Lastly, but by no means least, the thousands of men and women in the allied armed forces who have given up their lives fighting a seemingly unending war in the Middle East; for those that have escaped death, I wish you a quick and safe return home in the coming months.
